On The Radar: Go By Ocean, Little Comets, Fly Golden Eagle

Submitted By: Relix Magazine

This week our friends from Relix Magazine submitted three artists they think you need to hear right now (and we agree): Go By Ocean, Little Comets and Fly Golden Eagle.

Go By Ocean

Some bands have a sound that radiates their simple yet indescribable love for playing music and as a listener you can’t help but feel it too. California’s Go By Ocean is one of these bands – with soulful yet bold indie harmonies perfected only by the band’s natural talent and chemistry.

Little Comets

Yesterday, UK trio Little Comets revealed their latest video “Salt” off their upcoming EP out June 16. Filled with gripping percussive beats, strong vocals and afro-beat-tinged guitars, the new track is builds up to a momentous climax that angelically fades before you realize what just happened.  While Little Comets have commonly been described as “kitchen sink indie”, whatever genre they’re playing – the world needs more. Watch the video for “Salt” below.

Fly Golden Eagle

Nashville’s Fly Golden Eagle mixes Southern rock roots, psychedelic/funk grooves, and tops it off with a hint of brit-pop influences creating melodies you can’t help but get lost in with a smile. The band’s tracks compel even the most stoic, unexpressive music fan to move along to the beat.
